      @edmaul69 I am using:
      Tomee NES to PC USB Retro Controller Adapter Converter - PC Mac Linux

      I have two of them, I tried having both used for the joystick plugs, and tried with one adapter for the player 1 plug. Thanks for the tip, I will give it a try👍

      Is this likely to be something someone in the Retroarch forums could help with BuZz or do you not think it would work anyway ?

      Ehm, I don't recall, and I don't feel like opening up my cab right now.

      But I don't think it matters much. You will need to use a transistor able to supply current needed by your fan, which likely will be most of them.
      Have a look at this article for some more background.

      @saiyan7702 said in editing cfg file for ipac 4 to run 4 players and x arcade trackball:

      I'm using the hyperpi MLP 128gb build that just came out btw.

      Unfortunately third party builds are not supported here, especially if they have roms. Support should be requested from the supplier/creator as nobody can guess how it might have been modified or setup. Also, the correct configurations were linked in the other thread you posted in.

      I understand the situation here. Many of my friends ask to borrow my RP3 for the weekend or so.

      My setup has been done manually, I added tons of Japanese game collections, painstakingly selected the correct artwork, videos, etc so I wouldn't like anyone to copy and sell my "work".

      Since physical access to the microSD card can easily gain them root access or plain image copy, after backing up my (final-ish) setup and ensuring that my root and user password are unique, I used epoxy.

      Yup, that two part glue that will never, ever come out without complete destruction of the card or the board itself.

      Use epoxy carefully in order to avoid ruining your hardware (avoid connectors) and realise that you're shortening the particular Pi's life to a microSD's read/write cycles. It will definitely die before the rest of the hardware.

      But at this price it's virtually expendable anyway, isn't it? :)

      I have two Arcade Boards that dont work with my Pi 2+3: the MadCatz StreetFighter Tornament-Board (PS3) and the NeoGeo2+ Joyboard, also for PS3. Besides of them i agree: all USB Devices apart of these two seem to work on the fly. Im using MortalKombat-Tournament Sticks by the way and love them

      I used to run N64 on my pi when i first got one, i messed with every game i could, but i could only get about 6 games working to the point where i considered them playable and they were all early games such as wave race, mario 64, mario kart, etc. Golden eye in my experience runs way too slow on any setting.

      I gave up and just deleted all of it off my Pi and got an Everdrive64 flash cart for my actual console, haha.

      @spruce_m00se no. RetroPie as it stands on the pi is better in almost every conceivable way. I don't know why we'd bother with that when it can already run retroarch (not to mention it's been discontinued and none of the devs have one) best thing to do is take the guts out and replace them with a pi and use it as a case

      @Efriim Ive done some overclocking tests with PPSSPP and its core_freq and sdram_freq that make the biggest difference with performance. I ran "top" while running a couple psp games and I never saw the CPU go much above 50% so I dont think overclocking ARM will help.

      In the WiFi menu it did not show a network, I tried setting it up and no SSID's were appearing. I reset my router, rebooted the Pi, reconfigured WiFi and tried installing Kodi again. Many errors popped up and after 15 minutes said failed to install. All my other WiFi devices in the house are working fine. I'm not sure what to do.

      @PetroRie

      But lets be honest, everyone who uses RetroPie or any other emulator got their roms illegally.

      I certainly don't want to come off as a complete contrarian, but this is also a common misconception. I live in America and there is indeed a legal source to obtain just about any ROM you would ever want. I won't go into the specifics of how and where, as this does not carry over into other countries, but there are also a few other legal ways to obtain ROMs throughout the world as well.

      About Kodi I think the devs are more worried about people selling boxes loaded with plugins ready to stream movies and tv shows.

      This is indeed more troublesome from a legal point of view, but they've also gone on record several times about their disappointment and disillusionment in seeing something they've worked so hard on being almost universally mistaken for something that stands directly against their own personal beliefs.
