The wired controllers would as long as you have a USB adapter. However, the infrared and 2.4ghz models will not.

Edit: Come to think of it, the infrared controllers would likely work as well with a USB infrared receiver and the proper drivers and capture software. I wouldn't recommend it though, as Infrared produces a lot of dropouts when gaming.

The odroid xu4 has a awesome Sega Saturn emulator, at early stages, but it's looking great for a single board computer.

@barbudreadmon said in New Sega Saturn libretro core : Kronos:

I'm not sure support for boards like the odroid xu4 is likely, because i know a few people who tested standalone YabaSanshiro on this board and were disappointed, and libretro-kronos is most likely slower than YabaSanshiro on this kind of board. However i intend to buy one of those to do some tests.

Yeah, i know those videos, and i know people who tried the real thing too.

If it helps they have only sold 7 when I went to take a look.

I'm not sure this site cares that much about legit items. One of there listing has a title of "Copy of Tidying-up robot" and uses images of the actual toyota robot.

    So Ya.

I don't suppose there would need to be much difference. Just add a debounce circuit to the Cherry microswitch in a standard coin mech and wire the START button to it. Perhaps hack the rom to say INSERT COIN instead of PRESS START (same number of letters). The only downside is your game would start as soon as you drop a coin, and additional coins would be ignored. Ideally a counter circuit and LED display on the panel would track coin drops and presses of the panel mounted START button. In this case, the ROM would need no mods at all, any single player game that launches with the START button could be put into coin-op service.

@ObscureUsername I'd rather you didn't. The rules are not there so people can play the game of "hinting" where to get stuff. People need to legally obtain their own games.

I'm sorry I don't have the actual names for the games readily available, but my Attract Mode Advance Mame Trackball romlist is as follows:

I should say this list includes several spinner/dial games that work fine using a trackball eg Tempest Tubes.

Seems he is testing with some new features and changes, but first completed the base version of the game. Now, he can experiment and edit on top of that version. Makes completely sense now. But where a shadow is, there is a source of light too. That means, we can hope for a future release. Man, I didn't know how cool the romhack scene is.

@braiden While both are RPGs, the focus and gameplay, practically everything in the game is different. Like if you would compare Overwatch to Call of Duty, both FPS genre, but drastically different mechanics. Said that, Final Fantasy games live from its atmosphere, characters and epic single player story. And the game mechanics are often very interestingly done. PokeMon is more like a multiplayer game. First, it does not have a epic story or characters like a Final Fantasy game. The main focus more like searching, collection, training your monsters. And also fighting and trading with others is integral part of the series. Probably everyone knew it already, but I just feel like bringing it up here.

@beyonslay I am a bit suprised you mention this game, because I thought of retro only. But you are absolutely right, this Zelda game is probably one of the most important games to play. I still did not, as I don't own a Switch. But I will play it for sure, maybe this year.

Skraper (skraper.net) can get the manuals for the games scraped, provided they're available.

    @BobHarris
I'm glad you enjoyed. It is a bit expensive when you need to buy both the PS4 and the headset but at least you got to give it try. I just upgraded to a PS4 pro myself as I've had VR long enough now and still use it regularly so the upgrade was worth it for me. It does make a big difference in many VR games - Resident evil 7 is much clearer, not perfect but far better than on the base PS4.

Speaking of Resident evil 7 - how far did you play? There is a section fairly early on (just after the first video tape) where you have to walk through a flooded tunnel underneath the house. The water level is just beneath your chin and it seems so convincing I always find myself holding my head up slightly so I don't get the filthy water anywhere near my mouth. During this section the decomposing corpse of Andre bursts to the surface and I was amazed by the detail in that model - I spent far too long examining it complete with all the writhing maggots (it's as disgusting and brilliant as it sounds).

That took a little longer than expected (my best time is 7 hours)

All 100 slimes rescued. All tank upgrades except 2. 10,277 gold. 0 deaths and 0 tank battle losses. All health upgrades. 48 items collected, 17 monsters, 34 recipes.

    Total time: 9:45:41

    0_1539999770970_f511a7b1-e55a-454c-96c9-4c59e3d335ad-image.png

I loved this game when I first played it, and still do today (8 playthroughs later). Funny dialogue and characters. The story is somewhat forgettable and the music is subpar, but still fun to listen to. Collecting all the slimes only gets you a special secret item and nothing more. The tank battles are also fun, but stupidly easy if you have the right ammo (most fights end up being 5-10 min.)

After the credits roll, you really don't have much incentive to play unless you want to collect everything and do the optional tank arena fights. You only need somewhere around 50 slimes to beat the game.

Since this game I picked because it's a favorite of mine, I'm probably the only one to play it (ala Mario 64 from this time last year) /s
