Yup, confirmed. Don't install the Control Block module from the Drivers list if you're not using it and updating with Retropie 4.3.5, because it looks for it and if not detected, initiates the shutdown sequence.

@mitu Dang, The cue file name was uppercase in the bin file names. Made it match the real file name and its all good. Pico drive must be just looking for a bin file and ignores the cue name.

@ethanmlego there is a very technical equation to determine the closeness of the fan, size and rating of cpu, and the size of the fan.

But I will simplify it as distance should be directly proportional to the size of the fan. Judging by the distance away I'd recommend the following fan:

Primary concern would be to have proper ventilation to pull out the hot air being dissipated by the heat sink. I would recommend trying a few different placements while checking the temp from the terminal to see what works best.

This turned out to be a bad power source, by the way. Replaced the power adapter and it booted up fine.

my friend had this screen and he had retropie 3.2 then he lost his pi somehow I have no idea how

but I tried to build something similar but on the newest retropie ,screen had really low framerate so what i wanna do is have same opereating system and see if it will work better

screen he used and i used is Adafruit PiTFT 3.5

The documentation got you covered - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Transferring-Roms/. About the SD card - the Linux partition where the actual system is stored is not visible in Windows (just the boot partition), but there are other methods for transferring ROMs, oulined in the docs.

Note that selling systems with RetroPie pre-installed is not legal and support for 3rd party images is something that's not the topic of these forums.

Mame actually is a little tricky: needs exclusive config, needs the right version of the game, but after get rid of these problems, it's a great emulator.

@mitu Ah. Right.
Four official DS4s; all first-generation versions of the white, black, red, and blue colors.
They map / work in ES just fine. RA does something, so that when any DS4 controller is connected, it isn't able to control the emulation, including the keyboard (Escape, Control-C, and the like do not work at this point). I am only able to shut down via unplug.
Again, other controllers like Xbox works out of the box. Only minor re-binding is necessary under RA when I choose between Bluetooth and wired (i.e. Guide button is #10 wired, #16 BT).

By the way, for anyone missing the cursor in MC: in my case, exiting EmuStation and running "mc" from the terminal makes the cursor visible. Perhaps it's ES that hides it.

Yeah I should have mentioned that as well. Controller syncs fine with my Pi3 running Retropie.
