    @mitu you are right, thank you. I totally missed this, all I knew was that I could quit games of most platforms by START+SELECT

    @Spectreman

    Just wanted to chime in here and say that I had this same exact problem, and this same exact solution fixed it for me. And the weird thing is that I definitely had 5200 stuff working previously. This problem only just started happening for me. Very weird.

    @CobraKai I have not, but it looks like the xow driver is only for use with the Xbox wireless dongle. (I think it only references bluetooth on the 'supported devices' frame to differentiate it from the the other models)

    Boot without the stick inserted, then after the boot put it back. Exit EmulationStattion, then check if the usbmount service starts correctly with

    systemctl status usbmount@dev-sda1.service

    Post the output of the command here in the topic.

    @silverchairbg said in Reicast not loading CHD files:

    We do not plan to support other formats at this time.

    Neither chdman, nor flycast are developed or maintained by RetroPie. There's no 'plan' for them here - you either use them according to their feature set/limitations or not.

    So the conclusion then, is that Netplay through lobbies really doesn't work or is not a supported feature in RetroPie, @mediamogul?

    @YFZdude said in Save States:

    The SELECT button is it's own button. The HOTKEY can be a different button. You may not have any games that use SELECT. What matters is that you have a mapped HOTKEY button. To save states it should be HOTKEY + R1.

    Yeah, the hotkey +R1 is working fine now. Silly me. I understand now. Thanks for your explanation though. Now for some retro gaming fun!

    @sad_muso said in Pi 4 Retropie issues:

    Hi,

    I've just upgraded to a Pi 4 and performed a fresh install of the latest Pi 4 install file (md5: 9154d998cba5219ddf23de46d8845f6c). I know this is still a beta, but I've experienced a couple of quite big issues. Is it the build or something I'm doing?

    WiFi search initially found about 8 of my SSID name (for some reason). I couldn't connect to any, but now it can't find any SSIDs at all Retropie has crashed on a few occasions (with 'Retropie has crashed' message) Can't change resolution from 4k to 1080p because I can't get into the resolution menu - it just stays at the same menu level

    Have I somehow got the wrong image or copied it to the SD card incorrectly?

    I had similar issues

    WiFi - I created the file pre setup so didn't have this, however did notice a lot of repeats in Bluetooth when setting up my sixaxis for PS3.

    Didn't get crashing

    Raspi-config resolution... I couldn't get into this either although I did get a workaround which helped.

    @mitu derp, dunno how i missed it.. what's strange is that is the default settings after installing the drivers. The 90 will put it in a landscape view, so I guess this screen is portrait out of the box (before the installation of the driver).. anyway, if I remove the rotate, the screen won't work (white screen), and so at the moment I have it set to 270 so that way it's back to landscape with the pi power plug at the top.. I tried accessing terminal with it upside down (rotate=90) and it was still happening...

    I think at this point I'll just hook it up to a monitor, get all the pi settings I want, and then just avoid needing to go to terminal when on the mini screen.. thanks for your help with this

    Ah, my apologies, you are absolutely right. I was using the pre-built image on a Pi3 and the manual install on a Pi4. Once I flashed an SD card with the pre-built image for the Pi4 and booted that up I saw the same video options. Thanks for the insight!

    Did you ever get this working? I just came to realise that a mirrored monitor setup with 2 screens would be really handy for me on my Pi4 with Retropie.

    @mitu said in Single button exit!:

    Disable/don't set a Hotkey and then map your exit button as you like (default is what you choose as B in EmulationStation).

    Thank you so much! Now everything it's clear!

    retroarch 1.8.7 is not supported yet. the retroarch install script is hard-coded to 1.8.6 until we test 1.8.7 and make the necessary changes, such as the above. you must have modified it.

    I was able to disable the MAME menu by coming in through the Retroarch menu. However, it didn't seem to "stick". Is there something that needs to be done to save the changes once they are made?
