Rainbow on the whole screen on boot? This is normal and is just telling you the GPU has booted up successfully. If you are getting low voltage you would see a lightning bolt symbol in the upper left corner of your screen. If your power strip is good quality I dont suspect youll have any voltage issues.

if it's screensaver / screenblanking shouldn't it happen when other screens are attached as well ? the settings about it do not change when switching screens so in theory he should have the issue on every screen attached then

@hostolis It's intentional because by default killall will use the first 15 characters of a process.

man killall - you can use the -e option if you want.

Did you install any additional drivers (xboxdrv maybe) ? For the S models, you should install the xpadneo driver from https://github.com/atar-axis/xpadneo, it should work better with the newer Xbox controller models.

Try something the configuration from https://sinisterspatula.github.io/RetroflagGpiGuides/StereoDownsampleFix.

you need to start runcommand (pressing main button when starting the game) change your (Resolution/frequency) to any with 60 hz.

well still at work but walked my wife through it at home, lol. She said it got to the gamepad screen running Kubuntu, must have been a driver issue.

@VaultDweller did you look at the booklet that came with the case? If you lost yours I remember another post around here with the instructions, if I can find it...
