This info is covered already in the Docs - including where to copy the BIOS files, since RetroPie already configures RetroArch.
Note that some games have issues when the 'boot to BIOS' option is selected in lr-pcsx-rearmed.

@RetroNerdman Nope, you go there : https://www.bountysource.com/issues/69769485-feature-request-input-mapper-macros . Also having a github account to reply "i opened a bounty" to this issue is a good idea though.

I'd already gotten it worked out - that wasn't really a request for more assistance.

But I thank you nonetheless- knowing the exact path to each individual Retroarch config file will likely be helpful to me in the future knowing my luck. (and skill level)

But with luck, everything is worked out and my GhettoPi Boy shall be fully online and will serve me until a Pi4 version of Retropie released and I get my hands on one. A little beyond that, actually - the first Pi4 we get will likely go into the arcade cabinet rather than my handheld.

    @mitu Hi!

I just wanted to let you know that i have fixed the problem.
I bought a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ and that seems to fixed the problem.

Thanks for testing and helping me out!

    Greetings Stefan

@dudleydes Hi there. I know this thread is quite old, bit wonder if you can help me please.

I already have Scummvm (SDL1) installed in Retropie and the games run - albeit with the less-than-ideal controller configuration.

Could I just follow your instructions (replacing scummvm with scummvm-sdl1) up to the point of editing and saving sdl-events.ccp?

I tried running through the full thing and it broke my install of Scummvm (thank the lord for backup images!), and so I'm not sure what else to try.

I should say I have no understanding of coding whatsoever, I'm just trying to work my way through this by following the explicit instructions of helpful folk like yourself.

Many thanks for any pointers you can give me.

Thanks, I'll try that. It sounds like it is basically a bug since it should automatically invert an axis if I map the controls reversed. Some people want to flip joysticks around and use them left-handed, so the software shouldn't really assume a "correct" orientation.

@lostless I set the system to save from RAM every second and the issue appears to be fixed not just corrected. I was also getting little periods were the sound was muted and that also seems to have stopped. I was assuming that was a different problem and that was why I did not include that in the original question, but that has stopped as well. Great information thank you.

@dan_vapored hi, I’ve also had the same idea, I’m struggling too though, how do you get the split screen? I can’t seem to find anything on it online, literally the only thing stopping me from going any further with the project atm lol, if you could point me in the right direction, I’ll be very grateful! Thanks, Mat!

@retroninja said in Problems with lr-fuse on the latest version of retro-pie:

It may be relevant that, while loading a zx spectrum game (other emulators are okay), a message pops up in the bottom left saying "100% xbox 360 controller not set-up " or very similar words. It may explain a lot of my issues, perhaps, although I don't know why it would say that for this emulator alone.

It could be that your have a custom RetroArch configuration for that particular Libretro core. Try renaming the /opt/retropie/configs/zxspectrum/retroarch.cfg file and then re-install lr-fuse to generate the default configuration.

@xpvenom So I just checked and it is under "Other Options" in the ES menu.

Also, you might want to restart to make sure the metadata gets saved before changing over to the Kids mode.

@mitu @Clyde That was it! I should've known and feel like such a dummy. The correct path is indeed /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/atari2600/Yarrev.bin

    But now I know the all-know runcommand.log :)

    Thanks a trillion! <3

Sudo bash ./set_video.sh They won't turn on. I uploaded the scripts to a pendrive. Raspberry sees these files from position F4 but these commands cannot be turned on.

I'm not familiar with those scripts, don't they have any documentation attached ? Try copying them first locally, on the SD card, instead of trying to execute them from the USB drive. After you copy them, make sure they're executable - run chmod +x <file_name> beforehand.

@KN4THX said in lr-Stella on Pi Zero W?:

@chubsta It runs pretty good for my tastes. I built a Pi-Cart with the PiZW and it ran Atari up to the Super NES/Genesis era just fine. The rom lists/artwork seem to lag a little with but with a lighter theme that can be just fine.

Thanks very much, I'll get one ordered!

@KN4THX said in Removing Retropie From Debian:

As a side note, if I am testing a nightly Retropie build, will an update pull from the fkms branch or does the nightly build have to be freshly installed each time?

I don't understand what 'nightly build' means in this context. Usually a git pull would update the repository to the latest version.
