I could not remember which of the two screens contained the mouse axis. I think my suggestion for remaps would only apply to items in the Quick Menu -> Controls. Since the mouse axis isn't in there it must be the override that is supposed to save it.

I think there have been reports of some settings not saving correctly as expected. I read someone was able to save settings by opening the retroarch menu from within Emulation Station and therefore no ROM was loaded. Might be worth a try if you haven't already.

EDIT: I can confirm that neither overrides nor remaps will save a mouse index setting for me either.

Nervermind. Thanks for the tone. By the way, I was able to figure it all out with shaders and no lag.

@dankcushions arrrrgh. Thanks. Definite performance issues when rotating the whole system, and PiFBA is the only core that's giving me issues otherwise. Now I'm off to see if I can compile FBNeo with Cyclone and see how that runs. Thanks for your help!

Killer Instinct (arcade) was ported to Killer Instinct (SNES)
Killer Instinct 2 (arcade) was ported to Killer Instinct Gold (N64)

I see many people refer to the N64 version but if you want the original KI game the SNES version should work well on the Pi.

Not sure if any of the listed emulators have a repository with binary packages for Raspbian - you'll have to check their homepage/documentation. For Amiga emulation, Amiberry has binary releases which you can download and start directly.

Yes, since no SegaCD emulator supports .m3u files at the moment, so you'll have to load the game directly from a disc.

The BlueMSX doesn't have any control mapping for keyboard, only for joypads. It expects a keyboard for keyboard input. The FMSX core has some extra options when mapping the controls and setting the Device Type to Emulated Keyboard, but it still doesn't cover the full keyboard (only a few F keys, Esc, Space, the direction arrows and Space).

Is it PS2 or PS1 ? The lr-pcsx-rearmed emulates only PS1 games. Check if you have the correct BIOS files - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Playstation-1/

I don’t know how to mark this post as [solved], but I’ll try to make a summary of the lessons learned here anyway:

lr-fbneo-msx needs all MSX BIOS files in on pack named msx.zip in /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/msx/msx.zip lr-fbneo-msx needs ROM files to be zipped and verified against DAT checksums (the filename and CRC must match) MSX ROMs that are downloaded together with lr-fmsx does not work with lr-fbneo-msx (CRC are different for all files); you have to find the right BIOS files elsewhere. I still unable to load ROMs with lr-fmsx (however lr-bluemsx is a good alternative so far) In lr-bluemsx you can use the keyboard in MSX if you add a input_enable_hotkey in /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg or /opt/retropie/configs/msx/retroarch.cfg:
input_enable_hotkey = "tab"
Normally you would press "F1", when enabled you have to press "TAB + F1"
