@mrsanitycheck There has been many fixes the past weeks.
This particular issue is one I have not seen before, so without knowing which versions that worked, and which was broken, I can't really say what the fix was. Or who it was that fixed it.

I just had the same problem, but I fixed it by enablling insecure guest access. See this link:

@clyde Yeah, that is the thread I was thinking of.

There's no need to create a new post ever time one of your former posts isn't answered. It should work with xpad out of the box unless it's some janky controller or an insufficient power supply or some other thing. But since you didn't provide the details requested on the read me first page it's hard to help you.

@rbaker The kit from adafruit comes with a boost converter that converts the 3.7V up to 5V.

@maxbeanz That's it. Thanks. I was only looking in the retroarch gui and not the mame gui. It's not fullspeed, hopefully a Pi3+ will fix that.

Yes i use Windows, i made a batch file from it and it doesn't work. And now i try to figure out how powershell works..

Hope it helps someone! I tried to get the mouse to work as a Zapper. It just wouldn't work. End of the story: I had to unplug the USB-dongle of my remote control, because it had a mouse functionality. I think it had a conflict with my wireless USB mouse. Afterwards I changed mouse index to 0 in lr-fsceumm under Controller 2 Input and changed the type to Zapper. That's it!

Thank you for this, I found that disabling overscan solved the problem!

Assuming you are using the latest version of Retropie, you did not mention your build other than a wired 360 controller. You should read this: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first Then the following:

If you had your controller plugged in when you booted up it should have asked you about controller configuration. If so, this tells you everything you need to know about configuring a controller. Follow these and you'll be gaming in no time.

@rocco42 we don't really offer support here for other images as we don't possibly know versions or conflicting software that may be installed there.

That being said you will want to turn off OMX Player for that to happen, if that version supports it. Other issues will likely occur.

@kruuth No - it's not supported by RetroArch.
