      @teller In my advmess.rc file, I have:

      input_map[key_lshift] keyboard[0,lshift] or joystick_button[0079_0006_3,2] input_map[key_rshift] keyboard[0,rshift] input_map[key_shift] auto bbcbp128[home_pi_retropie_roms_bbcmicro_thrust]/input_map[key_lshift] joystick_button[0079_0006_3,2] or keyboard[0,lshift] bbcbp128[home_pi_retropie_roms_bbcmicro_thrust]/input_map[key_rshift] joystick_button[0079_0006_3,2] or keyboard[0,lshift]

      Obviously, the joystick buttons will be different for you. There's unfortunately not a lot of consistency overall between everyone's setups, so experimentation is probably the only way to get there.

      @icode You replied to a bunch of old topics and this is bad forum etiquette. To advertise your project, you should have opened a new topic under Ideas & Development and show your product, instead of spamming old - related - topics with it.

      @tmntturtlguy I imagine you could install another copy. I don't know the exact commands, but this page would get you close:

      ok this feature has been implemented as a core option. Its setup for real arcade joysticks its the last option in the options menu. Please let me know how any of you get on with it. With controllers and arcade joysticks. All you need to do is update from source

      @arpiegamer @mediamogul has a tutorial on using the xboxdrvr to program keys to a controller. You need to use something like that or joymap to set escape and enter to your controller.

      You should be able to select the key with the "circle" button, if I recall correctly. There is definitely one of the main 4 buttons that selects the key.

      "Select" is the button that pops up the keyboard.

      @grant2258 Interesting approach. If I'll make another CP in the future (or even a Cab..) I surely will retry with Plexi.

      @Carraudio

      That is the only thing that doesn't work. It was acting odd so I switched it to just single player

      I was just curious. Not that useful of a feature really. I think most of the times anyone wants to play 2 players would be at the same time and not taking turns.

      It was the joystick. I just realized I've only been testing with one controller with many receivers. Problem solved

      Hi, see my post here. Exactly the same issue as you. I noticed a similar fault with Yoshi's Story too.

      Damned if I know what's causing it, but it's not just you!

      http://mheironimus.blogspot.gr/2015/09/linux-support-for-arduino-leonardo.html

      Solution Found! For anyone else having problems with Leonardo/Micro problems, it's just a matter of adding a string to the end of the line in /boot/cmdline.txt depending on your setup:

      usbhid.quirks=0x2341:0x8036:0x040 (for Leonardo)
      usbhid.quirks=0x2341:0x8037:0x040 (for Micro)

      Yay!

      @meleu Success! Your solution works perfectly. Player 1 will work with the controller if plugged in, whether or not a second usb controller is plugged in. If just one controller is plugged in, player 2 will fall back to retroarch default as it should. Thank you for making this tool and your quick responses
