    @edmaul69 That could well be awesome:) I won't say no yet, but I may well have a go myself (eep) I didn't think I was using a hackfile, but i need to compare my two systems to see if one had been loaded via the Donkey Kong rom I put on there.
    Not going to burn any bridges, your offer is genuinely nice:) I'll see what I can tonight. Thank you!

    @edmaul69 @gpmcty I tried editing the config file as the website stated, but still can't get it to work. When you say hack file, do you mean the one the listed (the config file edited)?
    I can't get vision-dapter to work at all. It is identified, but I get the message 'Not Configured'.
    Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

    @quicksilver Got it figured, it’s now working with jzintv! I’d added the .rom .ROM to the intellivision es_config file as per @dudleydes post and it’s just like the old days are back again! Gonna have a blast tomorrow with my lad- two player works a treat as well:)) Got to say thanks for all advice from you folks, I love this place!)

    That's a great theme. I'd like to have it. I created my title screen because I never found any on the internet.

    I remember the old PlayCable, My first girlfriend had it back in 1981... maybe why she was my first girlfriend... lol.

    Also... my Retropie is built into an old Sears Intellivision. I hated to gut the thing, but it was for a great cause. I'm really happy with the results.

    It's kinda fun being able to play 27 different game systems on one old modded one.

    We don't do any libretro core dev short of minor patches. You may have better luck on the libretro forums.

    Also one more thing that the new version added. A guy named decle had made a studio ii emulator for the intellivision. The game roms each have the emulator inside them with the game rom. What was added in jzintv is the -G2 flag that you can put in the emulators.cfg to give the intellivision more gram which allows those games to run in full screen instead of a windowed screen. The games are called studiovision ii.

    @Mu0n

    There are some annoyances from xboxdrv: it can detect the L2 and R2 triggers as ABS stuff, but jzintv refuses to detect it, since it'd want a button behavior there instead. This severely reduces the amount of maps I can do.

    You can convert your controller's analog trigger input to digital by adding:

    --trigger-as-button

    to your xboxdrv command. It's detailed more thouroughly in the guide here.

    Tried all this. Jetsons: Ways With Words still doesn't run with this ecs version of jsintv. Anyone get that to work?
    Also, I don't think "select video mode for jsintvecs + rom ()" is the option that brings up "jsintvecs". That just brings up a bunch of screen res choices.

    @dudleydes Hey there -- glad I found this. I've tried out your xboxdrv file that includes this snippet,and (EDIT) managed to map it to my Xbox controller after finding the right names for the analog sticks and whatnot. However, in Tron:Deadly Discs, I can no longer fire diagonally since the mimic-xpad setting kills the diagonal movements for the second stick. If I remove mimic-xpad, I get the diagonal disc throwing back, but the controls jam up and break if I try to map the disc throwing buttons to the fully enabled 8 directional R2 stick -- and weirdly, ONLY when I fire diagonally.

    Anyone else have this issue?

    @videofx From the output you've given, it looks like your PS3 controller is not being picked up. There should be an entry with a line similar to N: Name="Sony PLAYSTATION(R)3 Controller".

    Try running cat /proc/bus/input/devices without running an Intellivision rom to see if the PS3 controller appears in the output. I presume you have it connected by USB? You may need to press the PS button to bring it out of its stale state.

    @Shizzmoney you don't need to copy it to add extensions. Just create a file /opt/retropie/configs/all/platforms.cfg with a line fds_exts=".nes .fds .zip" (with your extensions and update the emulator in question.

    If we have a missing extension though it should be reported back to me :-)

    Ok, that helped, thanks a bunch.

    Still not getting full screen at 1920x1080... it's playing in a native size much smaller... but it's playing well with no stutters.

    Here is my es_systems.cfg file for jzintv:
    <system>
    <name>intellivision</name>
    <fullname>Intellivision</fullname>
    <path>/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/intellivision</path>
    <extension>.int .bin .rom .INT .BIN .ROM</extension>
    <command>/opt/retropie/emulators/jzintv/bin/jzintv -v1 --kbdhackfile=/opt/retropie/emulators/jzintv/hackfile.cfg %ROM%</command>
    <platform>intellivision</platform>
    <theme>intellivision</theme>
    </system>

    Here is my emulators.cfg for Intellivision (jzintv)
    jzintv = "/opt/retropie/emulators/jzintv/bin/jzintv -v1 -p -z1920x1080,8 -f1 -q /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS -q %ROM%"
    default = "jzintv"

    @fpanichi

    I had the same issue. I went into terminal on my mac and did a more hackfile.cfg and here is what I discovered.

    @goldenhoof Do you mean a button to exit jzIntv? If so, then the following thread may be useful: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/7656/mapping-a-quit-button-to-a-gamepad-on-jzintv

    Be sure to check the Docs for jzIntv on using keyboad hack files:

    Ah, that's good to know. Perhaps this whole thing would be better suited to the wiki than a certain default, given it's versatility.
