RPI2 running RetroPie 4.2, use it trough HDMI and AV, but using AV the quality is bad.
Happy with it, just need to find a theme I really like.

Besides that, I am thinking about a handheld or at least a portable build, but for now i think it's too much work and money for something that a 15€ bluetooth controller and my phone can do.

The people selling this particular unit are using Recalbox, not RetroPie. You can tell by the theme in the video they posted.

These people cashing out on this sort of setup are a dime a dozen anymore, there's little any of us can do to stop it. Take one down, 5 pop up in it's place. It's the sad reality, make something nice and somebody else is guaranteed to ruin it somehow.

Anyways it is a wrong rom. it works fine on pc but just dl from one of the big sites and it works fine. so happy now. just have to dl them one by on i guess don't know if rompacks are updated or not :(

@exjordan all you can do in the GUI is set sensitivity. There's no "mapping" analog in the GUI even though it looks like you can.

If it fails to launch after updating the .rc file, you have a mistake in the file. Check logs /dev/shm/runcommand.log or try running at command prompt to see what it says. Is there perhaps a duplicate, conflicting line? That's not allowed.

@arkive yep. They care more about their bottom line instead of the law. They will only bother if they get a strongly worded legal intent to sue.

I opened the /boot/config.txt but not all the values are there to change, cannot find V3D to change, do I need to manually add that or something? also where do I find all the options for mugen to change? or do I need to add those as well? I opened that file that it shows and its very short and there are none of those settings displayed for me to change.

Ok so I hooked the pi up to a wired connection this morning. I continued my testing with Fable and was able to play this morning for about an hour with no problems even with Netflix going in another room.

Later tonight I'm going to change the moonlight launcher script I wrote to see how it runs at a full 60fps rather than the 30fps I started testing at.

Over all I'm very impressed with it.

Seeing as how I've committed myself to completing all the Nintendo Wars games, I'm regularly going to be looking for something to counterbalance the methodical nature of tactical strategy. Last night I found a tough-as-nails vertical shooter on the TurboGrafx-16 called 'Cyber Core'. It's a little bit like the vertical shooting stages found in 'Legendary Wings', as you have both air-to-air and air-to-ground attacks, but the immediate pacing is much more to my liking. Also, everything is bug themed with some really interesting boss and mid boss characters that feel like they're ripped right out of the movie 'Starship Troopers'.

@dankcushions Perhaps he means , "how to set up CPS 1/2/3 as their own systems"? @SKIIERFOX86 you need to manually create these within your theme. If you want to know how to do it you should search the forum as this has been covered extensively or start a new thread.

Ok so I just played for a couple of hours with no freezes at all using the same PS3 controller but wired instead of Bluetooth, looks like that might be my problem, but I thought the PS3 bluetooth freezes were fixed unless I have missed a step or done something wrong

I used the Xin-Mo controller unit on my bartop build (see link in my signature.)
Works great once the usbhid.quirks line is added.
