Can you manage your way around the ES code?

What you're looking for may start on the Window class (init and deinit functions). I imagine it'll then go to the Renderer code as well, but that's probably the best place to start. :)

Yes, thanks, that's no problem. :) I'm used to searching through large amounts of code, and ES is well structured, so it wasn't too hard. My main problem is the enormous amount of textures RetroFE leaves on the stack, so I have to unload it all, and then reload it when the game returns. I'm not yet sure what impact that will have on performance.

The problem seems to be that you didn't turn on the ipega with X+Home and it's conflicting with your keyboard. Does this problem happen in other emulators?

I have no button to quit the game to main menu.
Firstly, Is it possible to take a combination of button and how is it coded ?

The default is start+select.

Secondly, maybe there is a line to add in "/opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-joypads/CONTROLLER-NAME.cfg" in order to add this action (quit a game to main menu) ?

That config file affect RetroArch only and the quit option is already there (default is start+select). I don't know how to config input for N64...

EDIT: check the docs and you'll find valuable info.

i think i figured it out. i am trying to use a ps2 controller. i think it has been assigning the wrong controller to p1 and p2. i have it working if i get it to assign the order correctly. i believe it always assigns correctly if i wait until emulationstation to boot before i press the analog button on the ps2 controller it works properly.

@RedBatman in the end you will need to move the files to the right place as the RetroArch version that's installed/installable now requires it, according to your description.

Now all I have to do is get my Pi back to where it was before I broke Sudoers and see if I can actually get the retroarch.cfg files to save and work properly. Almost forgot that's what this thread was originally about.

I juste installed my old PS3 stick on the Retropie ...

Wasn't sure about the driver so i have installed all the driver from source (take a while but was working)
At restart i was able to configure the stick witout any trouble (I played a couple hours ...)

This morning i restart the Retropie and the stick wasn't responding, like i have no driver installed at all ...
When i go to the Input UI, it's detected, but while pressing A button dosn't wake him up ... :(

I look around on the forum about peaple modding their stick by replacing some component inside, but he was working good ... so i'm not sure i should do something like that ...

Then i found this Post, and seems like i'm having the sae issue !
Anyone having some sort of trouble ?
How did u manage to get it working ?
