I was just trying to point out if you're using a power supply with a detachable USB cable watch your length. I have a few that are 3 meters or 10 feet and the longer they are the more susceptible they will be to undervoltage.

I do like Anker power supplies and it sounds like you have plenty of amperage and it may even be a 5V power supply. The thing is high amperage doesn't mean a smooth 5V delivery. A good power supply will have the "filter" circuitry to deliver clean consistent power as well as under load.

Most of my USB cables are Amazon and I just rely on reviews if it's a decent cable. Just don't buy bottom of the barrel price cables. :)

@caver01 thank you , currently I have installed the image from the pi website and I have it on attract mode , but attract mode isn't picking up the roms that are in there ,

@eckaji my apologies, you're totally right it should all function correctly with current retropie. i was mistakenly looking at the ngp installation script, which is purely documentation, so it doens't really matter that it doens't have .7z as a supported extension there (in fact i don't think many/any of the installation scripts have been updated in that regard). thanks for your work :)

I did this. But still it does not work in any game. Only in Emulationstation as I stated before.

I tried one thing last night. While connected via bluetooth I went into config and then retroarch.
There I found user binding(or something like that under inputs) and I used my controller and rebind all the keys there, and pressed auto save config.
Aaaaaand I could use it in game! But the hotkeys dont work. I cant quit games, cant load save slots or change save slots. So im still puzzled.

I forgot to say, I found these command lines in the /opt/retropie/configs/emulatorname/emulator.cfg for each emulator and removed the %ROM% parameter.

@ruicunha I am assuming you are referring to MAME? And rebuilding using Clrmamepro? If so, then you dont have to rebuild a whole romset you can rebuild a smaller subset if you wish.

Well, not far from the truth. As @Sano said, the script is not part of the retropie and has no affiliation whatsoever with the project. You should contact the author of the script on Github.

@mediamogul Oh great thanks for updating that. Maybe it would be worth noting though. I'm not sure of the other versions of RetroPie but the one I'm running, 4.3.8 I needed to turn on the Online Updated Like mentioned above.

I fixed this by putting the SN30 Pro in Android mode. It is now working perfect.

If the xboxdrv had anything to do with it, that would mean you couldn't use a SN30 Pro and a XBox controller at the same time.

Managed to fix the issue. I reinstalled Ubuntu and followed the same steps as before, except I didn't do the update and upgrade step before downloading the installer script.

It really is quite simple to set up:

@mitu I've plugged it into my Linux and I've figured out that my controller wasn't responding to it. I'm using a spare one that works a lot better. Thanks for the support.
