@BuZz Thank you Buzz. I actually just figured it out by gaining access to Retroarch's quick menu using the in-game hotkey, then fiddling around in there till I found something mentioning Bios.

But anyway, everything works now, except for reicast. But thank you all the same.

click / double click the ".." entry and keep doing that until you are at "/" then goto /home/pi/Retropie/roms/amiga there you'll see your roms.

you can also edit the main config to use that location directory or type it in the editbox above.

the script i used to generate uae files had support for multi disk image and loads them automatically.

@jonesyp it's already fixed if you update retropie-setup and reinstall vice. (or just do update all packages).

Can i edit them out or will it mess up the ROM so it is unplayable?

If you are talking about the filenames then Yes you can rename them and they should still play. As long as you don't rename the extension, everything should be fine.

I have my ps3 controller connected into my ubuntu box with Retropie installed and I cannot map the ps3 controller in emulationstation. I am trying to use the script you wrote but when I type "sudo ./retropie_packages.sh sdl2" I get the message "No module 'sdl2' found for platform x86. Any ideas?

Check the SD Card , i write on a new one class10 and works fine.

dankcushions : I found the undo load state option but only after resetting and noticing the problem. It was obviously too late... well, now I know.

@BuZz that make sense, I forgot that RetroPie is not exclusive for Raspbian.

@Aluvian you should open a new topic - your issue may be due to a completely different cause. Please be more specific as to which image you used also - eg filename etc.

I will just scrape meta-data then maually edit either developer or publisher with the horizontal
or vertical text.

Just a quick thought which location is a 'safe place' to avoid the metadata being over written on a system/theme update?
