@impman66 I just got lucky that my DIY cabinet kit had pre-milled grooves for the bezel, so it can be exchanged easily (well, relatively, because you'll either have to remove one of the side boards of the cabinet , or bend the bezel until it snaps into place). Being no handyman at all, it would be impossible for me to make the grooves by myself. 😉

That said, I never changed the bezel to this day, because I just like the simple black blackness too much. 😁

Hey! Thanks to you guys and the other linked posts, I found and fixed the same issue. I had some old overrides saved and sure enough, my Multitaps were "auto". Changed to "disabled" and all is well again in PSX land!

Seems like this issue. Try pairing the controller in Switch/Android mode instead of Xinput mode.

@theissdev FYI, there's a PiBoy DMG facebook group that experimental pi is pretty responsive in: https://www.facebook.com/groups/piboy/ (although I've got to say, the couple of times I reached out to support via the exPi website, they've been crazy responsive there as well). They seem to be crazy knowledgable about their hardware and retropie.

We don't support 3rd party images - ask the authors of the image about any issues. Use the image from retropie.org.uk/download and we'll be able to provide support.

Webdav is not the same as CIFS, so the answer would be no. I'd advise against opening your local ROM folder to the internet. If you want to take your Pi on the go, then copy some ROMs locally and use that.

The rom folders are copied verbatim and there's no filtering done, so it will copy anything there, including any artwork scraped.

RetroPie doesn't build its own Linux kernel, it uses what Raspberry Pi OS provides. Raspberry Pi OS uses currently the 5.4.x LTS kernel branch, but there's work to upgrade to the next LTS kernel version - 5.10.

@diptwit there is no desktop in retropie. You are not installing retropie. Follow the guide.

@mortalwombat I keep an SSD plugged into my case and it just sits under the TV so you can't see anything for the most part.

If you really want an all-in-one solution, Argon just released a new case that holds an M.2 SSD inside.

It's meant to be running in Bash - could work with other shells, but it's untested. If you don't have the file, then make sure you've configured autostart and enabled EmulationStation on boot.
