    @ClassicGMR Aha. I suppose that happened some time ago, because right now the scraper doesn't work with the new TDGB API/Site. You might want to re-scrape those entries (or the whole list) using another source site (ScreenScraper) or - if you have a recent Emulationstation - scrape them using the internal ES scraper (from either TGDB or Screenscraper).

    @oleguer said in Config .rc to can load rom on advance mame:

    I read on the wiki of advance mame the rom need a .rc file to can be load with advance mame

    Where exactly is that ? AdvanceMame has extensive documentation over at https://www.advancemame.it/doc-advmame.

    @hfgx1 This is not an error, but just a progress indicator for you to know what's Emulationstation doing during startup. If you find that ES stays a long time ago at this stage, then it means you have a lot of ROMs and it takes ES a long time to scan the ROM folders.
    How many ROM do you have ?

    My advice is to not use 'Save on Exit' and use Core/Game overrides for changes you want to add to the controls. If you want to have a global configuration setting applied to all Libretro cores, open RetroArch from the RetroPie system in Emulationstation, make your changes there (it will modify the global RetroArch config file) and use Save Configuration to save those changes. More details about the configuration structure used by RetroArch in RetroPie can be found here.

    You my friend are a genius! I set controls on player 1 to "Select" = "Start" and "Start" = Nothing and player 2 "Select" = Nothing and "Start" = "Start". Works like a champ! I wish it was a little more intuitive, but it seems to work great.

    Thanks again for all your help!

    @mitu Thank you.
    For now I didn't find any game title which behaved unresponsive, so I'll keep it on 5 for now.

    @j1lted said in Kodi: Screen goes black after video finishes:

    This issue was introduced for me in Kodi 18. Solution for me was to:

    Settings > Player > Videos > Playback > Adjust display refresh rate > On start / stop

    Hope this helps others.

    I could bloody kiss you, mate. Thanks for choosing to gravedig an old topic with your solution. I was pulling my hair out until I found your post. :)

    @mitu LOL Wiseass. :)

    Yeah I did use Selph's scraper. I like the videos.

    I did check that es_systems.cfg file before I posted just to make sure. Love the search function for problems. Had MANY I didn't have to post for because it's already on here... usually with your name on it. :)

    EDIT: Yep. my gamelist.xml file has a bin and a cue entry. Shaved out everything that said WWF and it only shows one in ES now. I just re-scraped that one game. Thanks. :)

    @LineOf7s Well then, probably the fact that my USB stick is formatted as exFat.
    I guess I'll give it a break with Amiberry for a while.
    Anyway, I am just updating my system, including the big one (second list item from the RetroPi-Setup Script). Given I get my PS3 controllers working on Bluetooth again afterwards, maybe Amiberry also behaves differently :-)

    @mitu the Roms are in .zip format, I am running the latest version (can't test what it is at the moment as am at work) as I keep it up to date. I have used skyscraper so will delete the gameslist and try again - thanks for the reply

    @mitu thanks! I figured maybe I needed to remove certain pieces and start from with new image. Before I do that let me see if I can see if I can generate the pishrink error again or find some
    Notes I may have taken months ago. I do recall the error ultimately having to do with the external hard drive not having a certain access. I will try this tomorrow hopefully it will take me hours to run this again until point of fail. Part of me says to add more internal storage and try pishrink internally and not on External drive. I will also lookup what version Retropie I am running. Thanks!!

    Now I have it where if I delete .atari800.cfg and then start an Atari 5200 game it works fine. But then Atari 800 games get an error that the computer crashed. If I delete the .atari800.cfg and then launch an atari 800 game it works but I can no longer launch atari 5200 games as I get the blue screen and note pad error. I tried adding the items to my /opt/retropie/configs/atari5200 retroarch.cfg and such but hat has not positive impact. The only differences between the two .atari800.cfg are:
    MACHINE_TYPE=ATARI 400/800 OR or Atari 5200
    RAM_SIZE=48 or 16
    When the 5200 works it has these:
    ENABLE-NEW-POKEY=1 versus 0 when the Atari 800 works
    STEREO_POKEY=0 versus 1 when the Atari 800 works

    Note if I delete the .atari800.cfg in ~/ either type work the first time so it builds the proper file. I would like to be able to do this without having to delete the .atari800.cfg everytime I want to switch between 800 and 5200. Any ideas?
