Update with more information. So if I switch to a different TV the audio problem vanishes and it works fine without unplugging and repluging. However a different issue shows it self on the new tv. Emulation station flashes black randomly it seems to occur more during heavy scrolling and subsides if i am not moving around in emulation station at all. But in game everything works fine. Thoughts or ideas?

This is all you needed to do, it did work, you just can't mount it under Windows.

Those solutions are not good enough for my project.
I simply want to read two buttons, if Button 1 is pressed, the PI should switch the Display Rotation to 0, if Button 2 is pressed, it should be 180degree.

Not SplitScreen, just rotating.

There must be a simple Solution with Python i think.

Any ideas?

it's outdated, FBAlpha is now FBNeo it doesn't cover the most important aspect of arcade emulation : romset validation

Pressing select is equivalent to the screensaver-start event, sleep is triggered after the configured timeout.

It appears you are using a recalbox image instead of a retropie image. You might want to ask your question on their forums instead.

Change the 921600 value and halve it to 460800 (then 230400, 115200 etc.).

@soren , that's great that it works! Your post made me think of another post where someone said that they have spent more time installing the Raspberry pi than actually playing on it. It was quite the hassle to make it work but well I guess that's life, what is good usually takes some effort. Again, I am glad it now works for you =)

@quicksilver They are! more so than i thought they'd be. It's not ready for prime time to the extent that all the titles seem to have slowdowns or small rendering issues, but so far Scud Race, Sega Rally 2, Virtua Fighter 3 and Spikeout have all been immensely playable.

@alxld Thanks for reporting. The warning message is confusing. My bad. Filed a small PR for this.

FWIW this mask is tested on user scripts, if one needs group writeable userscripts adding | S_IRWGRP would be a way.

After you make those changes, it is necessary to update the emulator packages for those systems in RetroPie-Setup to trigger the change.

@dankcushions nevermind... since i ran into a few other problems with lightdm and pulse which are way beyond my know how, i dropped that build. thanks anyway

We may have to amend the docs and don't recommend ds4drv anymore. Try with regular bluetooth pairing again - it should work.
