    @cyperghost

    Just made use of your mult_switch.sh script.

    I'm using it for a momentary switch on a 3B running retropie 4.4.1

    Worked great thanks.

    I think this is awesome! The big question, though: Your Sinclair or Sinclair User? :)

    As I was more into colour in my games, Zzap 64 :D (But Ollie Frey artwork on Crash picked the magazine)

    @redbatman There's should be a tutorial in the docs, also looking at the themes.md document (which was linked in the tutorial last time I've looked at it) can be helpful.
    And yeah, getting a theme that looks close to what you want and change things is a good way to start. Then you can look at even more themes to understand how to change positions and whatnot.
    It might take a while to understand everything but on the other side, there's not that much to learn.
    If you have a Windows PC, I also suggest to get the Windows build of EmulationStation, with that you can edit your files and immediately check the changes.

    So I went back to this project and changed the controllers from the old D-Sub sockets into USB sockets... Had to replace the old PCB with a newer one though, as it seemed to be gone for good.

    @Lurker Thanks, that's a great summary (rambling included :-). Sadly my build will not be of the exciting and creative type mainly due to the requirement from my wife that it be camouflaged. Sadly that doesn't mean a camo-effect 1942 arcade cabinet, but rather that it should merge as much as possible into the rest of our furniture, so it is in the process of becoming a mainly antique white with "aged" effect cabinet decorative molding, and vertical 3:4 .screen for playing early 1980's arcade games.

    @udb23 Argh, thanks for reminding me. I wanted to copy the samples to the 4.4 sd card, but had to expand its partition first, and then I forgot to copy the samples … :P

    Thanks @clyde I am definitely going to add arrows to indicate direction on this box. This one will likely be disassembled with most components going into my full cabinet build.
