I've put a guide up here for SORR 5.2 and RetroPie 4.7.x - although this is with a Pi 3.
I'll do another one when I get a Pi4.

I love this theme, but the handhelds just look horrible. All the consoles are pretty square anyway so you can get away with them, but then handhelds are usually horizontal or vertical and even if you put a thickness on them to create a 3d effect they still look terrible. On the snes classic the gba is a top down view of the classic purple gba

I just messed with that one today and it’s incredible!

@bluestang On the Amiberry front, worried I'd have to go off and compile the binary and fiddle around with symlinks and that kind of thing. Turns out, just reinstalling automatically builds the SDL2 version.

Screen tearing I was seeing in Redream seems to be eliminated! Gonna test out Flycast some more too to see if performance has improved.

@pjft It's more a pain I can't roll back easy. I going to have to do a fresh 4.3 install. But I agree, shit ain't broke so should have stayed with it :)

@zering Possible but I'm no aware of anything that would make that much of a difference. Maybe a change in kernel. Scheduler or drivers.

No glitch on my side with lr-vjag. I'm running tempst2k.zip (from MAME Romset) with the default settings and Vulkan

@kokokool Drastic is not a Librero core, so you won't find it through the RetroArch core updater. Right now, the only options to run DraStic is to either buy it on Android or play it on a Raspberry Pi.

@mitu I'm using Google Chrome at the PC and tried Microsoft Edge as well, but no lucky either.

@tpo1990 This tutorial really works well for me on pi4 thanks! All graphics settings to max and still good performance on my small 1024x768 monitor. Looks great and runs between 30 - 60 fps
Game is harder than I expected or remember though!

Had trouble to begin with as game wouldn't fit on the screen at small resolution. Problem wasn't fixed with overscan settings, nor could I fix it with playing around with /opt/retropie/configs/ports/rtcw-sp/main/wolfconfig.cfg settings.
Could still tell what the mouse cursor was pointing at off screen thanks to the menu tool tips. Luckily managed to change resolution settings
