Mostly not at 4:3 or 5:4, as I said, because they haven't been manufactured in bulk in almost a decade. It is actively hard to find a brand new 4:3 or 5:4 LCD panel. 99% of new monitors are 16:9 or 16:10.

      Great craftsmanship and detailed explanation.

But for those that don't have access to power tools or can borrow from a friend or nabor a pre cut DIY kit are not always expensive.

@GregLove Sorry for the late answer, I missed the notification about your post.

Alas, I can't give you my artwork, and it's not vectorized anyway, but you could check out https://www.arcadeartwork.org.

Nice job buddy! I have finished my large cab too and was thinking about doing a small upright like this. I like how you have the shape and it's not the same as every other generic bar top...looks original.

Do you have it booting straight into Pac man?

@willie1280 Vectorlib and Arcadeartwork offer a significant amount of artwork in vector format.

@willie1280 I bought a graphic kit from mini arcade machines. My marquee is a sticker. I cut two pieces of plexiglass and sandwiched it between them and then did a border using some leftover T-molding with the spine part cut out.

@brurpo said in Done cabinet, researching for light gun support:

Since I am using a 29" crt TV, it's technically possible to use a light gun, but as far as I can tell there is no solution available for a real light gun, only wii motes and similar. Is that the case?

Anything is possible with the magic of programming. But yeah a real crt based light gun implementation doesn't exist for any emulator I'm aware of but I could be wrong.

Thanks for the continued help...you guys are really awesome!

I mamaged to create an Ssh and used winSCP to visually check the directories but I couldn't find default.cfg file at those locations? Managed to find all my recent Rom cfg files and removed those. Ran a search for the whole sd card for default.cfg and found it relating to lr-mame2003 but with a different pathway(file had unreadable symbols) Removed that and rebooted.
I feel really successful in what I have learned the last few days but my S,Q,W keys are still bound!? I'm using a conventional usb keyboard tonight at home so the issue doesn't seem to be related to my iPac.

My next plan is to change the key definitions in winipac for the iPac board. My player 1&2 pin numbers sw7 & 8's are not used so I will try swapping these keys designations over.
      S-L
      Q-K
      W-C
This will hopefully change the conflicting s q w keys to unassigned pins. L K C don't seem to have any adverse effects in mame. So this might be the solution. On the plus side I've learned heaps the last few days-never thought I'd be able to this stuff

@caver01 Thanks a lot! Yes, it's an USB port, the original plan was with Raspberry 2 (so no WiFi) but now it's using a Raspberry 3 (so the USB port could be an optional 'cause WiFi). The main purpose is to attach keyboards/gamepads or transfer ROMs to the Bartop.

@GtBFilms i had uv florescent bulbs in mine. And had bought uv reactive motherboard paints. Oh i remember the good old days of making your pc look cool. And you used it for many years. Nowadays people just buy gutter garbage they end up throwing away in 6 months.
