@lostless said in PS1 - Medal Of Honor UnderGround - can not change controller config:

@smokingman you might have to enable an analog controller in the tetrarch options. Lr-pcsx defaults to a standard controller without analog by default. Which is good, cause many early ps1 games don't work in analog mode.

@smokingman said in PS1 - Medal Of Honor UnderGround - can not change controller config:

      @lostless
      ah ok, tnx...
how to to enable an analog controller in the tetrarch options ? XD
-> select+y in order to open the retroarch menu.... and then wath ? :-)
... and how to reput the emulator in default mode after played with medal of honor ? (or it will do it authomatically launching another Rom ?)

      Found !
      tnx a lot LostLess :-)
      you was helpfull !

@smokingman I’m sure all versions have that issue. I have the USA version and it also has that bug.

@Orionsangel Nothing has changed between the answers/solutions given above - you have the same options as before. You can choose to start in the Last Played collection, so you can go back to your last played game if you wish.
I'm not sure whether you're using Retropie - and its fork of EmulationStation - or some other distribution that includes EmulationStation (or perhaps ES-DE). Other forks may have other options, but as far as RetroPie's fork is concerned, nothis is changed from the above.

      Please don't bump old topics.

Pretty much any controller is supported, I have a wireless PS3 style controller and a wired PS3 real controller and both are detected and work perfectly with everything I use

Some games may be a bit awkward to play without specific controllers, but if you can get an N64 controller there are people that use specific controllers for specific systems and one just for everything else

Not all N64 games work, but the vast majoirt do. I have N64 games, but only those they are verified and tested working 100%

This is an outdated list now, but wil give you a good idea to what is possible on the PI3 N64. Quite a lot does work though, mainly concentrating on the popular games for 100% compatibility and support

      https://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Wii64_Compatibility_List

Wii/GameCube is really a "proof of concept". It will work, but so incredible sluggish and terrible it really isn't work trying (and probably never will) on the PI hardware. 3DO and SEGA Saturn emulation is also possible and supported. They WILL work but just not quick enough to actually be usable

@mitu with regards to the information which you said has the details of requirements to run the roms, is this something that is contained in something like a text file that is in the rom zip or where would i find that information?

Some of the games that I have attempted to scrape artwork for, I haven't been able to find artwork on the site that it uses. I have seen that there are Youtube videos which allow you to create it manually but these seem to involve many steps and I was just wondering if there's an easier way to do it.

That was indeed a great podcast. The only thing it was missing was Samuel L. Jackson showing up at the end and recruiting the guys for the Avengers. Thanks for linking that and as always, thanks to the whole team for all the work they do. Your efforts should be showcased more often.

      Thanks man!

@mitu said in How do I change NES color palette?:

Can I do that for SNES also?

I don't think that for SNES emulators such a think exists. What are you actually interested in ?

Make the colors more like the real Snes. But maybe I´ll just use a CRT filter of some sort instead :)

      Great craftsmanship and detailed explanation.

But for those that don't have access to power tools or can borrow from a friend or nabor a pre cut DIY kit are not always expensive.

@addison There is a huge site for this, but it requires you to play specific emulator versions of MAME. Other systems or emulators aren't allowed. It is called WolfMame and have several changes in its source code to prevent from cheating. Unfortunately, it is only available to pc. If you still interested in it, go ahead and have a look at MARP site.

      Forum: http://marpirc.net/
      Database: http://replay.marpirc.net/

But be aware, you can't just enter you name and score without any proof. WolfMame will record an input file and you have to upload it too.
