If there is no defined install_bin_$id function, you use wget --spider -q "$__binary_url/${__mod_type[$idx]}/${__mod_id[$idx]}.tar.gz" to try to pull the binary. For now, I will check if the file exists with the same method and maybe work a better solution into RetroPie shell scripts afterward.

You don't need a keyboard to access the Retropie-Setup script. You can manage packages through ssh.

cd RetroPie-Setup/ sudo ./retropie_setup.sh

Ahhh yes, I've been hoping for rotation and have been doing it manually. Maybe now ill just use some svgs and throw the rotation at them XD.

As I know there are no dumped roms of this so MESS will not help I thik but some similar games are avilable.And what about handhelds from USSR , they have some similar to nintendo game and watches and some unique ones for example "Elektronika IM-12" Winnie the Pooh

Another option is you could play Pokemon ultra violet which is a rom hack that combines fire red and leaf green into one game which allows you to catch every Pokemon. However I agree this feature being added in would be nice.

Hey I had Space invaders on my Atari 800 xl (same as 5200)
It was unique yes, but for me, the 2600 version was the best !
Actually I even prefer the 2600 version over the original arcade ;)

@capeman i ended up do it all the old way. But not sure if it mattered or not. It didnt do anything until i ssh'd in and ran the command for progressive which i should gave tried first. Now if we can get a way tomake it change back and forth automatically would be cool.

Take a look around here In last posting @meleu and me did resolve some problems with shutdown and escape emulators by GPIO signal.

@ectoone I know, just saying that when the time comes where we can use grid mode, we dont have to use background images :)
