I tried running the update earlier today (10/16/2019) but the same issue. After running the update, after restarting it would prompt me for a login and password (which is a separate issue). I was able to login, but had the same issue with configuring the controllers.

Also if you look up God of War PSP emulation in general you will see it seems to be one of the hardest games to emulate at full speed in general on various hardware. So it may wind up being that even pi4 won’t do it.

@mitu @KN4THX yes, I use Rpi 3b power supply and it freezes completely - I can't do absolutely anything and can only unplug the rpi and plug it back in.

Saving game overides just cant save aspect ratio Change in rom. Anyone can help?
P.s got it, just go to configedit, unset ratio for arcade, and in game you can Change the ratio and save on game overides.

well, for some reason, about ten minutes later I do another reboot and this time it shows up, however although I can go into it, and supposedly download the packs, no bezels show up at all....

@Xystus777 Normally this is done by runcommand when launching a game, by running

setterm --blank poke

Are you not using runcommand to start your game ?

Use the default retroarch.cfg - leave aside all the hard sync settings (I don't think they're relevant for the Pi's GPU) and the audio settings. Also, a GPU mem of 256 is more than enough for most emulators, so I don't see any point in upping it to 512.

Why ? Open the RetroArch menu and check the resolution in the Video options - maybe use the one provided by the core and make sure scaling is enabled.

@gugue Just like you have .cue files, you can have .cue folders - game1.cue - and they'll show up as games in the list.

Well, then what about manual build retroarch and emulationstation? Which flags do I need? And how configure emulationstation work with retroarch?

I just ended up using a different method, winscp on Windows, I also just mount my USB directly now instead of transferring files cause I reimage so often
