Yeah, seems to be useless, I will keep it for use in a Rapsberry Pi.
I will try another frontend for my intel hardware

@herb_fargus Thanks. I wasn't sure how that worked. So it's essentially a smart redirect that says if the drive is installed to ignore that directory on the SD card, but if the USB drive isn't there, then fall back and use the directory SD card.

works like a charm, im using it to play the files from http://arcade.hofle.com/ as ambiance in the menus, although instead of stopping them when executing an emu i modified teh script to drop the volume by 75% so its still there in the background while playing for a more video hall experience...

Probably you'll have better results if you try with https://github.com/PhoenixInteractiveNL/emuDownloadCenter/wiki/Emulator-xe, which has Linux support.

You'll have to use something like xboxdrv maybe. I haven't gotten around to doing it myself yet.

People can be intrigued by the thought of not having to do much. They like the idea of a pre made kit that they can play there childhood games on and have minimal setup

@denisuu That's on an RPi 2 and I'm assuming that going to an RPi 3 would be an increase, but not a ton of difference. I've been curious about AOE vanilla though.

Thoughts on resources running it on Raspbian vs Retropie?

@kkostis said in Gamepad and Light bolt problem (Rpi3):

May some updates caused that problem?

Sometimes it can happen that a system update will tip you over the edge of what a power supply can handle. If that is in fact the case here, then you were probably at the borderline all along.

I removed the whole opt/ folder from root and replaced it with one from a fresh install and changed the permissions. Then removed the gamecon USB driver for the 2 SNESpads and removed SFC30 from bluetooth. Paired it and set it up in Emulation Station.

Now the SFC30 is working like it should again, I'm pretty sure as soon as I'm going to install the gamecon USB driver again the SFC30 is going to stop working. Any Idea on how to prevent this?

@djoveryde I know it can get frustrating. I have a few Zeroes myself and they're touchy. I guess that's what you get with a $5 computer.

      Some searching says

      4 flashes: start.elf not launched

You mean you need a tutorial for updating or reinstalling the PowerBlock driver, right?

What you could try is to run

      wget -O - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/petrockblog/PowerBlock/master/install.sh | sudo bash

from the command line to execute the auto-install routine of the PowerBlock driver (as described at https://github.com/petrockblog/PowerBlock#quick-installation). Maybe that solves your issue?

I keep seeing more and more Nintendo roms being removed from websites,
Keep kicking up a fuss about the sellers guys, It's doing wonders for the community...

EDIT: Can you ban the guys with 1 post linking to system sellers like this idiot above "El_Phoenix ". There's absolutely no reason for them to be doing it other than being a seller themselves and trying to get people here to attack their competition... Furthermore they are linking to ILLEGAL sites, and last time I checked that wasn't allowed here.

I went with the 8BitDo FC30 Pro and NES30 PRO
I really like the controller, but I didn't realize it would be so small (it is actually the same spacial size as a WII PRO controller, but the buttons are smaller)

The only problem I have.. is I think games are recognizing it as 2nd Player.
I was using a PS4 controller before, and just plugged in and set up a FC30 PRO, but when I start any game up.. it won't let me hit start... yet it works perfectly in the RetroPie screen.
