@meleu Thanks for that suggestion. I'm off work tomorrow so I will dig deeper into this mystery then. For now, I just re-wrote a backup copy of my SD card from a month ago. I'm re-scraping my cheevo list right now.

It is now possible to use all the pi-top hardware including the pi-topSPEAKER and the pi-topPULSE with Retropie, for instructions see Retropie-pi-top. Feedback is appreciated.

Powered by a Quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU, 512 MB Memory, Mali GPU, and Wi-Fi onboard

So it's a custom OrangePi Zero (cost $6.99) with a Wifi module...
Edit: The OPZero already has Wifi.

@hiulit maybe some curl trick can do this. But let's just put it in our ToDo list for now 😌

How are you connecting the controller ? I assume it's USB, since the PI2 doesn't have a bluetooth chip. Do you have more than 1 controller ?

@edm203 said in Nostalgia Fix profiting off of Retropie:

I just found a website off a facebook ad where these people are profiting off of Retro Pie. For shame. Floob, if you are seeing this, I hope you can take some legal recourse (or just report them to Nintendo, Sega, etc).

Uh, not sure why you're mentioning Floob here...?

Setting up a fresh install isn't really that hard anyway, and everything you are doing will happen because of your efforts--no mysteries about why something does or does not work the way you would expect.

I think I speak for everyone who helps answer questions on this forum that we have all been "burned" trying our best to help someone with their configuration, literally spending hours answering question after question only to find out that the software was pre-installed, or the image came from somewhere else. It is frustrating for us trying to help, but probably even MORE frustrating for the person who needs it, as they often have to start all over anyway.

@LandyVlad I appreciate your enthusiasm. I often say that one RetroPie project is very rarely the same as another. One size almost never fits all. We all have our own ideas about what we want to do, how we want it to look and what hardware/controls we want to use. Fortunately, we all start from the same point of origin, so collectively, the answers are often available, and the opportunities to learn are endless.

    Halt ! Kommen Site!! Auspass?!

I guess it is time I give BCW another go!

@danielmewhouse Sorry for that then. Unless there's some magic we can pull off with XBoxDRV, I imagine your easiest solution is to re-map your buttons for GBA or for this game in a way that makes those combos more accessible (i.e. keeping those buttons closer to one another, for instance).

  • N64 performance worse after overclocking?

If it's a voltage issue on the NesPi case, that seems to be very common. Some sellers on ebay or other places even disclaim that before you buy it. Running the Pi in the case for basic emulation or use seems to work fine but once you overclock and/or push it to the upper limit the voltage issue comes into play. I have a NesPi myself with the same issue. If you take it out of the case it works fine.

There is another thread about this you want to check out:

I've always preferred the Street fighter series over any SNK game. Street fighter III is my favorite 2d fighter. Especially the art in Street Fighter III Second impact is gorgeous. I've never seen a 2d fighting game with such smooth animation and the backgrounds only enhance the quality even further. Also it's one of the few games from that era that has a widescreen mode.

I grew up playing a lot of Fatal fury special on my Game gear, but I enjoyed playing Super street fighter ii at my friends house a lot more.

Will there be threads about the next weeks / months? ^^
I am currently playing the emulator in the Adams Family with Gomez and PoE on PC, PoE is one of my favourite MMO
While playing the game, I watched his performance with my aunt, my aunt loves Kevin. However, I like to play my MMO games more. My aunt does not understand that, but it's also a form of work. When I play in POE and Exalted falls out to me, I am very happy. Auntie does not know, but I can sell such an orb and earn real money. My adventure with Path of Exile began faster than Kevin's adventure. I buy it. To play Path of Exile, I have to collect quite a lot of these exalted orbs. I've been dealing with it for a long time, if I remember correctly, it's been 3 years. My creativity is what I love. That's why I will trust you in a place where I buy exalted orbs for me and my children https://odealo.com/games/path-of-exile

@landyvlad said in Same game, different systems - does it matter?:

    Thanks to both of you.

The game is an FPS called XIII (highly recommended) I used to play it on PC hopefully will be just as good on RP, as I can;t find it for PC anywhere . I'm not sure which of those categories it fall sin (ie written for one and ported to the other, or multi-platform).

But yeah I kinda figured the answer would be try em both and see.... :)

    cheers

I still have that on XBox, although I haven't played it for years. Good game.
