Bump, adding /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg file to the first post ... I don't see anything wrong with it. Yet neither controller or keyboard work with lr-cores.
EDIT : managed to get back controls on lr-cores by deleting /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-joypads , disabling , enabling xboxdrv, remapping the controllers and lots of reboot

On another note, no progress on getting enhanced resolution and analog support with pcsx-rearmed :/

The PiBaker should work with this image. Then you've a working RetroPie and the forum will give you support.

For a quick overview:

Enable WIFI without having a keyboard Enable SSH by just placing an empty file called ssh in partition you see on your MAC... (credentials for SSH are user: pi password: raspberry) Alternate: enable SSH via RetroPie Menu (graphic interface) > got to Raspi-Config > Select 5 Interface Options > Select P2: SSH

Solved it!! Projector had to be running in HDMI mode before plugging the PI in,I must say it works amazingly.
Shpuld I start a new post about the Retrolink adapter or is it call to get assistance in here?

I don't think so because reverting the config file through a re-install did not fix the issue.

Ok this is the way I think and see things... the image that is on the RetroPie website is the v4.2 and once I install it on my 4gb sd card I then update it to the latest version which is v4.2.10 so now I have an up to date retropie clean image on my hand. Why do I do this you ask, and what benefit it does to me? It does a lot you see, I see things as if they can be removed or the whole internet will just breakdown it's weird I know. Let's just say that if anything happens at least I have the latest copy. That's It.

I am also having a similar problem. You're suppose to remap it by using jstest in terminal. It will allow you to see the number the buttons are assigned to which then you assign to in the snes9x.cfg file. I have gotten to this part but nothing has changed for me. Clicking start will still exit the game for me so it's kind of frustrating. I'm using snes9x since Pisnes won't even run at all.

@mistersouji No, desoldering them will not have any power benefits. These connector ports are "passive" components and they do not draw power from the power supply until you physically install/connect a device into them.
