    I was finally able to set it up.
    I configure the control the best that I can in Emustation.
    With HotKey is the Cpad UP
    And then I put this configuration in Retroarch.cfg in the N64 folder.

    Settings made here will only override settings in the global retroarch.cfg if placed above the #include line

    input_remapping_directory = "/opt/retropie/configs/n64/"
    input_player1_joypad_index = 2

    input_player1_r_x_plus = "8"
    input_player1_r_x_minus = "3"
    input_player1_r_y_plus = "9"
    input_player1_r_y_minus = "0"

    input_player1_left = "left"
    input_player1_right = "right"
    input_player1_up = "up"
    input_player1_down = "down"

    input_player1_a_btn ="nul"
    input_player1_b_btn = "1"
    input_player1_y_btn = "2"
    input_player1_x_btn = "nul"

    input_player1_start_btn = "12"

    input_player1_l = "4"
    input_player1_r = "5"
    input_player1_l2_btn = "6"

    #include "/opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg"

    Just FYI, @mitu gave this tip in another thread:

    @clyde This issue seems relevant - https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/4610. Try using audio_pwm_mode=1 in config.txt and see how it works.

    I'll test it as soon as I have the time and leisure to work on my cabinet, but I don't know exactly when that will be.

    Please add more details about your setup, as requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

    Have you tried starting the controllers after the Pi is started (in case you're not doing that already) ?

    @clyde said in Failed to find mixer elements error after latest system update/upgrade. Kernel bumped to 4.19.118:

    @colosso25 Did you encounter any random "stops" for 1-2 seconds of the system? Because that's what me and some others experienced using the headphone jack. The only solution that we found was to use HDMI sound.

    No, not that I know of. I haven't been testing stuff out at that time. I was looking for a solution to this problem.

    @markyb2021 nope, i have 4 8BitDo Pads running very well and had no problems at all, not with retropie 2 x, nor with 3.x or 4.7.
    It is your setup, but as you are not able to answer specific questions we will never know what is wrong with it.

    @mitu
    Thank you!
    I don't know why it was Glcore. I changed it to Gl as you suggested and the shaders are now enabled!
    Thanks so much for the help!

    I then deleted the folders in the home directory but the space was not reclaimed

    Which folders did you delete ?

    RetroPie installs everything under /opt/retropie, you can check its size and maybe delete it if you wish.

    An update......some success.

    It seems I had two problems:

    The precompiled binary does not work form me on the pi400 I was using rom files from amiga forever and didn't realise they were encrypted

    I will update if I get any more issues

    @dankcushions Huh, I don't recall modifying any of those settings. I'll try a fresh install and see if that fixes things!

    There don't seem to be any other references to fbturbo or Allwinner in the remaining configuration.

    Then I don't understand from where the fbturbo configuration is referenced.

    Can you check if the file still exists after you remove the xserver-xorg-video-fbturb package ? If so, remove it and see if - after rebooting - you still get the error.

    @fnkngrv said in 8Bitdo SN30 Pro+ USING USB ADAPTERS - Multiple Controllers:

    The controllers are showing in the system as Xbox-360 controllers.
    ....
    I have attempted to use zerojay's controller ID script at least for the LR cores however it doesn't seem to help.

    Which script are you referring to ? If it uses joystick names to re-order the joysticks, then having the same name might confuse the script and the order may not be correct.

    Is this make any difference for neocd emulation?

    @dynamight picodrive has always been the default megadrive emulator for pi 1/0. pi1/0 versions of retropie don't really have any emulators/software related to other pi models installed by default. that's why there's different image downloads.

    emulators can increase in accuracy and requirements, but the ancient versions used for pi1/0 shouldn't.
