Terrible stuff. I actually have a copy of the shooting script that has the Wookie parts translated on the page. It doesn't improve things. Although 'The Star Wars Holiday Special' certainly holds the crown as the absolute worst, retro-gamers can seek out their own personal nightmare before Christmas with the ill-conceived 'Christmas in Pac-Land'. Theses shows are not without merit however. They're a great stand-in for ipecac if you can't make it out to your local pharmacy and you've run out of eggnog.

Make sure you are using an official image, or have done a manual install yourself. We will not support 3rd party images.

It's a little bit of both. These are my overclock settings. ymmv

arm_freq=1300
gpu_freq=500
sdram_freq=500
over_voltage=6
v3d_freq=525

If you put the section in, as in my post in the other thread, and load Rice HiRes, it does work, but as soon as you load Glide it seems to remove the section again.

@sadkiwi Just some tips, if your question involves something that isn't working, explain it as accuratly as you can, and explain how it is connected/related to the pi. Also sometimes add the code you are using for some projects.

Did you get a change to try this? Was it successful? I did the same thing haha. Have yet to try this solution.

Try setting the clock first. I've had this before where the clock being out by more than about 15 minutes stops the wifi from connecting. Once it has connected once, it is fine on future reboots (even though the clock is reset to default at power on).

Is it possible that the aes has a ram/cpu limitation or something that may be the reason why it disables the music during the boss fights?

@Chito It wasnt the lines that was a problem. If i remember correctly there was like 3 solid colored pixels that made it appears as dead pixels. Been awhile so i cant be 100% positive. However, i love your overlays. Really nice work. Thank you for making them for us enjoy.

I still cant play quake2 :( witch is a great game. I also saw quake 3 in ports and i had installed it but i could not see it anywhere so i uninstalled it. I dont know if it was only the engine and i was suppose to get the game and install it after that but in any case, i still would not have been able to play it if i cant get bot analog stick to work.

I upgraded from a Pi2 to a Pi3 by switching the card over, the only thing I had to do other than replace the power supply, was to check the wireless settings as I used to have a Edimax USB wifi, and I moved over to use the Pi3's internal wireless.

@6r360ry Yeah, .pbp is the way to go for PSX games. So much less faffing about.

I'm having the same issues currently. Did you ever find a fix for this issue of swapping from HDMI to DVI? If I find anything myself, I'll post back.

the games ran too slow for me, so i gave up on dreamcast emulation on the pi3 a few months back. i ran into this same problem and can't remember exactly how to bypass it, but there's some helpful info here: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-setup/wiki/Dreamcast#bios

Note: If you are having trouble with having to set the date/time every time you load Reicast, see this forum post for a guide on how to replace dc_flash.bin. The MD5 of the dc_flash.bin generated from that guide should be 2f818338f47701c606ade664a3e16a8a

also, the relevant section of my emu.cfg looks like this:

make sure the controller cfg file exists and the contents are correct (should match up with the ones in /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-joypads/).

@mosi0815 thanks for the reply I will test that out soon. It makes perfect sense to me sounds simple enough. Is echo 1 to enable and echo 0 off? Nvm ill try it out tomorrow if I can.

In the terminal type
"cd /boot"
that will put in the boot directory, inside that directory is config.txt.
to open and edit it type
"sudo nano config.txt"

or you could open it from anywhere by typing "sudo nano /boot/config.txt"

What i would like to know is how could you turn this into a shell script?
