As for now, the only true alternative to a physical collection are flashcarts along with an a mod like UltraHDMI.

the pi1 b (512mb version) isn't to bad... and can run some PSX games...

I was able to play pac man world on it using the .cue/.bin extracted from the disk with no problems as well as a couple others (crash bandicoot and such)

though more graphic intensive games like Tony Hawk was unplayable...

and N64 on Pi1 was near impossible...

@obsidianspider I love James and Mike but I found this video a little frustrating. Maybe because I have to play this all the time and know the rules. I was surprised they didn't realize how to screw over the other player :)

Just go for a PS3 controller. Now mind you, you need to plug in the PS3 controller via microUSB, then finding ps3controller on the RetroPie setup.

    This should probably help you.

@hawsey I'm also building my own arcade cab (bartop arcade). I'd be interested in seeing how everything turns out.

@juniorug Works fine here. I'm using the USA version of Side Pocket. Try updating retropie.

Actually there was no response of apathy from myself.

The files were included as a genuine error (being in devs/kickstarts) and were not even correctly located for use as the main bios files for Amiberry.

The files were removed at windale's request , however, the reason for my dislike and removal of his comments from GitHub were a result of him posting there about the WHDbooter , on a page for another area of my the project (the config maker), and continuing to post on the matter despite me making this point to him.

As is clear from the language used above , the intent was purely to annoy, and given that he previously has caused issues on the Facebook (taking , rather badly , responses to requests which there was not capacity to resolve in the time he wanted), and had falsely claimed he did not use Facebook (accounts across several sites are not that hard to follow) I stand by my response to him,

Whilst I too do not condone piracy, my personal opinion on the matter of older bios files may differ to some... ( considering I still own a considerable amount of Amiga hardware with this rom data) nonetheless, I still removed files and it is irrelevant to the main RetroPie project here , and I would always respect the wishes of this forum... i would note this is why I have never posted regarding my project/Private Facebook group on this site, since reference may be made to using easy to obtain (google) files which anyone can download.

I hope this explains my position on this matter, and thank you to Buzz for removing personal details.

@Lodan-Zark those Logitechs are also nice for the money too.

I have that converter or one looking just like it, but it didn't work too long before it stopped working(might of gotten a bad one) and was also very picky about the game pad you used when it did work on my PC. A converter is a good idea though if you have older PSX controllers. I still use my 20 year old PSX Asciiware fight stick with a Gameon converter on my PC and my Raspberry Pi just fine.

I take it that you posted a ROM download rather than a patch file. Whenever you get a patch going, I hope you'll repost. I'm a pretty big Giana fan and this hack looks like quite a challenge.

just curious, why'd you choose ipac2 over Xin-mo or any of the zero delay USB encoders? I haven't used any of the USB encoders before, but I've seen good reviews for the other ones and they are generally cheaper. Is there a reason to get the Ipac over the others? I ask because I might be needing a USB encoder soon.

On another note - the NES30 is a fantastic controller (http://www.nes30.com/)

I have both the NES30 and the NES30 Pros - I love the NES30 for NES/SNES games, it's well built, and responsive - NES30 Pro on the other hand, its only reason for existence is analog, and the analog is awful, and they feel kinda "meh" in your hands so they just sit in a drawer unused - PS3 controllers work great for analog stuff which is really only on N64/PS1 games in my case.
