    I assume your encoder is like mine and the button/joystick presses are keyboard mappings, if you know what they are then you just need to edit the dapinput.ini accordingly.

    To give you some context, my Coin keyboard mapping = 5, so for Daphne that equals 53, joystick up = up, which maps to 273 in daphne, button 1 = LCTRL which maps to 306

    Yeah, the \\IP-ADDRESS-HERE\McArcade\RetroPie\ROMs\Nintendo\Super Nintendo Entertainment System UNC style paths are Windows specific, they won't work on Linux. Glad you got it working, happy gaming !

    i managed to run it in full speed with this command: startx lincity-ng the only downside is that its not full screen and the -f is not working with startx but its something
    i know that some ports require different configuration,most of the ones i did i have found the configuration with many tests

    thanks for helping

    can you add to the lincity-ng install script the -f parameter its a good option for the game.

    @mitu Indeed. You were right all along. I really appreciate you helping me track that down. Its been a long time since I have messed with my RP and I had become more unfamiliar with everything than I was when I was more into it. ;)

    What is the best way to delete all core overrides at once? Using the retoarch menu or by deleting a specific config file?

    I got the Super Gameboy logo to show up with rom paths and everything but lr-mgba wont save configurations... I give up.

    EDIT: I got this form dev>shm>runcommand.log after changing an option in lr-mgba and resuming gameplay, what does it mean?:

    I had to convert them from LZX to LHA (unless I shouldn't have?), and it might also certainly be an issue on my end as, as I mentioned, I have little familiarity with the Amiga ecosystem.

    Apologies for the trouble, and thank you for your time and dropping by. By the way, thank you for your GitHub repository - it was tremendously helpful in getting this set up :)

    EDIT: if it helps, I'm happy to share the created config files for WHDLoad for these in my setup. Maybe it's just something absurdly obvious. Thank you and let me know how I can help.

    @mitu, I'll check the script but to me the fact that the source code of ES refers to the buttons by two different names is incorrect.

    Emulationstation works with more than 1 type of controller and/or keyboard. The fact that it works fine for a lot of other people contradicts your observation.

    Anyway, I have to say that I didn't download the full package at first. I mean I only downloaded the source code of ES to compile, then when I realised I missed the themes I installed the configuration script. I need to do more testing though.

    If you didn't install the package correctly, then you'll get incorrect results. Install the package from the RetroPie-Setup package - the stable version - then re-configure your controller and see if the .cfg file is correctly generated.

    I see that the lr-caprice32 has support for m3u playlists - https://github.com/libretro/libretro-cap32 - so you can create a .m3u file containing each game's disks.
    Emulationstation doesn't know - yet - how to handle those files and it will not show them, though. If you use the lr-caprice32, you can create your custom es_systems.cfg - see here) - and add .m3u as known extension.

    @Sldb please post all the info that was requested of you. Which model of Xbox one controller are you using? It's in the battery compartment. Are you connecting via USB or Bluetooth?

    @mitu I don't think that works (though thank you for the suggestion).
    The problem is that my gamepad's number was dynamic so I wouldn't know what number it was until I start the game!

    Though I managed to solve the problem by creating a runcommand-onstart.sh script:

    This is hardcoded to my system but it solves my problem!
    It looks for /dev/input/js2 (which is the device for my bluetooth gamepad) and, if it exists, it overwrites the retroarch.cfg global (and the psx) config to map the input_playerX_joypad_index parameter! :)
