Hm, it seems that uae4all is also not available on x86/PC systems - for the PC it's lr-puae or fs-uae that are candidates for installation.

@mitu I had no luck with Skyscraper, it did not find any of the missing PC Engine CD games the normal way.

How do I scrape by MD5 using the --queryoption?

UPDATE: Ok, so three weeks later, being stubborn and refusing to give up, I finally managed to download the missing video snaps for those five PC Engine CD games!

What I did, was to place those five PC Engine CD games into /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/pcengine, then I scraped with skyscraper and it managed to find the video snaps for those games. I set the video path to each game from /home/pi/.emulationstation/downloaded_media/pcengine/videos/game name.mp4.

I thought I would just update my last post incase anyone else is having the same problems that I had.

@zacknawrocki There's nothing new since the last message that I added to the topic - I'm not interested in Fofix so I didn't try to find a solution to the error.

    @BJRetro said in PSP scraping?:

@mitu I think he is asking if there is any way to somehow extract the menu image file, music file, etc.from the .iso or original PSP game that was “baked into” the game data itself for display on the original PSP, and then use those (extracted) files in EmulationStation.

    Yes that is correct.

Going online to scrape games for other systems is good.

I don't want it to go online for the PSP. I want it to extract the baked in menu data from the game itself.

If nobody's written a script for that, then that might be a good utility for me to write. But before I go start typing a bunch of Python (seems like the appropriate tool for this) I want to make sure nobody else has already done it.

@avih7531 The Wii emulator (dolphin) is only available for the PC builds, it can't run on a Raspberry Pi.

i know is a older post, but here is my map for Worms Reinforcements (1996) for "Dragonrise inc, generic usb joystick", similar PS2 gamepad, using joymap-0.4.2 the dpad controls aim and movement, leftstick analog controls the mouse, L1 & Start buttons for Left - right mouse buttons, square is "enter", cross is "spacebar" and R2 for" control "& right trigger for "f9" ( a combination that quits emulator)

I was testing the controller parsing utility of LEDSpicer when I found that was not working for that emulator on the retropie, so I used a different approach, now is working, I found out that I cannot depend on other programs functionality.

@pengu1n said in GPIO Controls Not Registering After Launching Games:

[WARN] Input device ID 3 is unknown to this libretro implementation. Using RETRO _DEVICE_JOYPAD.

That's because of the RA's configuration - try resetting the configuration to default by copying the retroarch.cfg.rp-dist files over the retroarch.cfg in the /opt/retropie/configs/all/ folder.

Sounds like retrogame isn't installed, or it isn't loading when booting, or isn't configured properly.

If you open the terminal (press F4) and push your buttons and see if the corresponding letters appear.

If you see no letters when moving the joystick or pushing buttons, then retrogame isn't working

    Hi there!

I extract all the roms, configs, images, gamelists, themes, etc... and build a new sd card now with Stretch.

    Now, scraper work properly.

You can close the thread. Thank you very much!

@mitu Thanks for moving my topic. This forum seems to be different to other ones - there you must not open new topics (admins become very unpolite because of this). But okay, now I know.

I have no idea why, but suddenly it works. I tried so many things today and now I'm not able to say which one helped me out.

This is what I can remember:

Moving es_systems like you said 'Parce gamelists only' switched on/off (now it's off) (you find it in ES settings -> other settings) Updating all packages Using again Selphs Scraper

I found some good advices here:

@BuZz Yes I did see it in a guide, I can't remember where. I am not enthused by the idea of setting up a fresh image again, but if I don't come right, then I will.

@cyperghost The buttons work in the games now, but not on the retroarch menu.

Stupid question but I don't see it asked here:

Did you enable/configure SSH in the Software Configuration Menu on the new install in the Pi?
