Someone showed this to me over the weekend. There's not many things you can do with it at the moment gaming-wise other than play 'Minsweeper', but it's pretty interesting. Unfortunately, the developer is distributing Windows 95 illegally, so I had to removed the release link. It's getting a lot of attention, so I imagine Microsoft will take action before too long. The strange thing is that it'll run multiple operating systems, so I wonder why they didn't just release it with a Linux that had an appropriate license. It wouldn't have got all the press, but it would have kept them out of any potential trouble.

Definitely. On top of a difficult control scheme, the games themselves are relentless. If they weren't so much fun I'm sure I would've given up on them long ago. As an aside, I love the inside joke in 'Avengers: Infinity War' that sees teenage Groot playing 'Arcade Defender' while the team responds to a call for help that results in them catching a falling man with their space ship. Too funny and very clever.

Even with the incremental dial I still can't get past lvl 17.

It may not set a record, but it's still not bad. That game is extremely tough as well, even with an ideal control scheme.

This is a modern Arkanoid like game, with 2 player simultanously option. It looks quite nice and plays well with regular joystick. The special thing about this game is, the player can bounce the paddle's right or lift side up, so the ball will fly in this direction. That allows for greater control.

Is lowering the resolution an option to you? And using overlays and shader can also have an impact.

@shizzmoney As long as we don't know neither of their margins or sales numbers, I think it's impossible to tell who's more criminal than the other. From Nintendo's viewpoint, the amount of distribution could be more important than the profit of the distributor, and a download site might outdo a hardware seller in the number of distributed roms significantly.

@bktrantam You should have mentioned your existing thread to avoid a parallel discussion. Just a friendly advice.

Unfortunately, the retroarch guys say a pi port can't be done due to the limitations of the pi's gpu. Not sure if that'll change.

@victimrlsh Are there some plateforms missing on retrocollect besides arcade ?
