I'm glad it's working and the resolution is expected behavior, but keep in mind that this only fixes the singular hotkey issue. While that's a positive for now, as long as you have 'save on exit' enabled and you continue to change your settings further, each system will have different configuration settings and problems like the one you just solved will begin to surface in other areas.

if your happy with it all the retropie configuration to run it. im not sure if retropie 4.4 supports sdl2_opengles youll need to ask someone at retropie headquarters if they support this or have and intentions too. it runs very nice on a debian x64 :)

@mitu notepad ++... cfg file. Might just try to revert retroarch, seems challenging for the non tech saavy tho. Or just remap over about 80 remap files

@mediamogul got it working. i think it sees my dolphinbar as 4 mice. so i needed mouse index 4 for my regular mouse. thank you for your help.

@herb_fargus Thanks. It's strange that they aren't compatible, but OK, time to get a USB 2 hub rather than playing around trying to get it working I guess.

(1) Disable 'save on exit'

(2) Replace the contents of /opt/retropie/configs/all/retropie.cfg with the contents of /opt/retropie/configs/all/retropie.cfg.rp-dist and the contents of every system-level RetroArch config file at /opt/retropie/configs/system-name/retropie.cfg with /opt/retropie/configs/same-system-name/retropie.cfg.rp-dist.

This will leave the user with default RetroArch settings, but it's the only way to advise everyone at once without knowing the extent of an individual's problems.

cool thanks @quicksilver, I figured as much. I rarely add games so this kinda threw me off esp will all the permissions problems I created for myself moving from 4.3 to 4.4.

/opt/retropie/configs/n64/mupen64plus.cfg edits the standard mupen64plus emulator settings. At my level of expertise(or really a lack thereof) I am unsure how the cores are separated but the es_systems.cfg also lists editable extensions and I would presume if the mupen64plus.cfg doesn't also affect the libreto version, then this probably does.
