With that new angle it looks like they only split the button from the player 1 control panel to the side button for pinball.

So that shouldn’t cause any problems. Hope you get it sorted out.

@dankcushions These "mini" themes work perfect! I never thought of using 4:3 themes or were aware of them; it fixes the distortion problem and now everything's proportional, thank you :)

@cacrlhungus74 This is old and maybe you already resolved, but i found saving config file under Amiberry you could also save game-specific controller mapping.
Althought i can only achieved mapping some keyboards commands (like F1) on controller shoulder buttons, which seems reasonable considered frontal buttons are needed for Cd32 games.

@duiz I'm not familiar with Launchbox and what it uses as scraping source, but you can use another scraper to get the media and metadata for Emulationstation. You can choose between Skraper, Universal XML Scraper or Steven Selph's Scraper.

@cjohnson26 the Pie will boot and the function of these few lines are just to ask status for a sensor after the has booted.
But for your idea to work as on off switch for booting up a device this also works but you do not need a code or something. Just connect the hall effect sensor like a switch on a power device like the Mausberry or a Pimoroni on off SHIM and it will act like a button press. For switching of you need to ask status then you can use that code.

Of all the stupid things. I never thought to unplug the keyboard. Both controllers work as long as the keyboard is not plugged in.

The RetroPie SDL fork is at https://github.com/RetroPie/SDL-mirror, for the Raspberry PI it uses the rpi-3 branch. In your case I'd try first an updated xpad driver and making sure the device is in Xinput mode. The xpad driver used by RetroPie is at github.com/paroj/xpad.

Hi! Updating to 2.21 (update via source) solved the problem -- thanks! I could even delete the "custom" configurations for the games I tried before, Amiberry now sets port 0 to mouse and port 1 to joystick all the time -- thank you!

@kombat Yes. I flashed to 1.39. You can still use it as a keyboard if desired, but the option to change the buttons to gamepad buttons is now available.

Emulationstation also sees my mini-ipac as two"Ultimarc Mini-Ipac"s now instead of "keyboard"

I enabled RetroAchievements 2 weeks ago too on my Pi3 and not all systems did work, when they should. I can't say why. Maybe this have something to do with the RetroAchievement site itself? So, try again later. Here are the systems I tried to enable by changing the configuration files. I need to retest them too.

Working cheevos: nes, snes, gb, gbc, gba, md, ms, gg
Not working cheevos: ngpc, a2600, pce

You just need to set the C drive to your game folder and then start the game by runing the .exe, in the LBA2 case the game also needs the CD mounted - the .DAT file is the CD index image.
If only the EXE is enough, just copy the game to the pc-data folder and then the [autoexec] section should be

[autoexec] @echo off mount c /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/pc-data/DungeonKeeper c: cls WHATEVER.EXE exit

Just replace the folder where you copied the PC game and the name of the .exe file and you should be fine.
