@herb_fargus Yes it should be, I indeed spoke about Pixel because it is easier to setup.
About the addon, I never took a look at its code but I am almost sure that in either case it wont work. For example in the raspberry pi, kodi must be closed to use any other graphical application, it won't be easy to change the addon.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall retropie. I removed the binary drivers but nothing helped. :/

@dankcushions Damn. Okay. Others on Reddit said they were able to update from binary successfully. I think it’s a me issue. 2010 for some reason has been trouble since jump for me.

My power settings are the stock settings.
I think this is what happens: When the boxart image size is large, the Pi needs a bit of time to load the image. This causes a slight delay when scrolling from one game to the next. Other controllers ignore this, but the DS4 seems to remember the directional button input during the delay and keeps it going, without me having to press the button anymore.
But yes I am very glad I found the solution. Thanks for your input, as you asking me if specific games were causing this, got me on the right track.

For anyone who thinks they have an “official” controller and it doesnt work you probably have a bootleg controller. Black is the only color i personally have seen the bootlegs in but i have seen hundreds of them.

@strauss48 Seriously man, NOBODY has any idea how this piece of crap you bought is configured! Wipe it, reinstall the official image and it will work. No one here has the time or inclination to debug someone else's shitty configs and build.

@strauss48 I think i fixed it.. Each emulator had their own settings.

@derebo The ROMs with pat the end are for the Pioneer board. From the .txt file inside of one:

Pioneer version of board uses same ROMs as Hitachi version, except 5473c and 5474a are not used, and IC3 (5596) and IC10 (?) are added. NoTE: The ROMs in IC3/IC10 on my board are apparently not the same as the 'standard' ones. I was told that these ROMs did not work when swapped into a board that had a different set, and vice-versa. If I can find out any more info (and/or get a dump of the other ROMs), I will!
