anything is possible, but tbh it looks like more truble than it will be worth.
obviusly you will need to remove some of the board and you will most likely also need a new control board for the screen and will therefore most likely not fit inside the old case either.
cosiddering all this and the fact that you had to ask if it was possible, i would say this is likely a job way above your skillset and not worth the efford, for you.
personally i would just get one of the many kits available.

@samco friend, I’m looking at your videos about your samco project since 2016 videos.
This concept almost same with wiimote and dolphin bar right?
I has a big problem with wiimote and dolphin bar.
If I use 1 wiimote as a lightgun, it works properly.
But after I connected the 2nd wiimote the crosshair always merge beetwen player 1 and player 2.
I’m already change the dolphin bar mode (1-4)
What I want to ask is, is the wiimote not supported for 2nd players at retropie ? I’m affraid if I build the samco project I will experience the same things.

@tuntav This may be information you already know, but both mine are detect as mice and the spinner overrides the mouse. The only way I get around is to find out what device number each mouse is (spinner is detected as mouse) and then start game, go into retroarch and set the mouse input to the number assigned to what mouse I want to use and then save the game settings (not the core settings).

For example, my spinner is device 0 and mouse is device 2. For a game like Centipede, I just go into Retroarch, set Mouse Input from 0 to 2 and save the game config so only affects that game.

Have done the same for AdvanceMame, but that does not use Retroarch but a config file.

Again, you may already know this, so I am sorry if I am repeating information you already know.

Ah, gotcha. Seen plenty of those too. Nothing bigger than about a 21' screen would be fine.

I've actually never seen one that is a two player model with joysticks. It's always been one player or two player touchscreen.
