triggerhappy runs as a service when your system starts. Unless you've disabled it, it should read the configuration file and do the actions configured.

(Sadly it doesn't actually work for me because it needs a newer Caprice release than the I have, which doesn't support 6128+, and it refuses to update because I'm not running poxy bastarding Stretch. But if I ever put myself through that hell it's good to know it should be ready :))

There some games that doesn't work with the ir-pcsx-rearmed core. I think Psybadek is one of them.
I was test it in a Pi 3 and it crash too.

@dfelice81 Usually they're created per system, since each system has it's own native resolution and you need to make sure the overlay doesn't obscure the game's video output.

I found the issue if anyone else has the same problem. I had saved a core config in each of the emulators which caused it to be set in what ever resolution it was in at the time. Configs are stored in opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch/config/all/retroarch/config/(name of emulator). I deleted them and re set them up in 720p.

I installed almost all packages for Retro Pie in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS onnRaspberry Pi 4 but couldn't get lib-raspberrypi-dev
It's for mad/intel 64 bit PC's

I think RetroPie has been set up to default to these emulators if you have a RPi4.

Hostname works but only with Ethernet
Tried without Ethernet just continues trying to connect

The display order is they're entered in es_systems.cfg file. If you want to re-order them, move the <system>..</system> entries in the configuration file.

anyone know of a way to convert sharp x1 .tap files to a format that lr-x1 can load? this seems to be a pretty obscure question.

Thank you very much for your hint about KMS in the config.txt file.
I really didn't paid attention to this.
It was really commented, I don't know why. I didn't ever edit this file.
Now the installation has finished successfully.

The solution was really uncomment the two lines below regarding KMS dtoverlay into /boot/config.txt (and restart) :

[pi4] # Enable DRM VC4 V3D driver on top of the dispmanx display stack dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d max_framebuffers=2 [all] dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d start_x=0 gpu_mem=256 hdmi_enable_4kp60=1

@neurocrash Nevermind, it was supposed to be opened with the Hotkey+X button, but on the diagrams for controller buttons reverse the X and Y keys, so I had them mapped backwards.
